Effective Public Opinion - Do we have it?

Now that the dust has settled and the heat somewhat dissipated for General Elections 2011, life resumes, hopefully along a more progressive direction.

Cherian George had talked about the need for "an effective and intelligent non-party leadership of public opinion" and also for a transformed leadership.

Food for thought indeed.
